Geoffrey Curme served as managing member and co-investor in the acquisition of a nearly ruined and unfinished apartment development. River Run in Spartanburg, SC had been abandoned and left open to the elements after loan default and guarantor bankruptcy. During a 19-month investment period, the team acquired the note from the lender, obtained title to the property, performed all necessary asset recovery work (including mold remediation and correction of defective construction work identified during the due diligence period), and sold the finished apartment complex.
